What is Whole-Body Reflexology?
Whole-body reflexology is based on the idea that each organ and body part has corresponding reflex points not only on the feet, but also f.ex. on hands, ears, and scalp. By stimulating these points, a reflexologist aims to help the body find its natural balance. The goals of the treatment include relieving stress, promoting relaxation, and improving circulation and energy flow in the body.
How Does the Treatment Work?
During the treatment, the client lies comfortably under a blanket as the reflexologist applies pressure to the reflex points using fingers, hands, or reflexology tools. The intensity of the treatment is always adjusted individually, and the reflexologist tailors each session to meet the specific needs of the client.
About Reflexologist Mari Amir
Mari Amir is a reflexologist, certified nurse, and empathetic listener. She sees the body and mind as a whole, where the balance of building blocks creates the foundation for well-being.
With several years of experience in whole-body reflexology, Mari received her training at MedikaNOVA, following the methods of Swedish reflexologist Karl-Axel Lind. Lind was a prominent researcher and developer of reflexology in Western countries.
Mari's interest in reflexology grew over the years. Suffering from severe pain during high school, Mari found relief through reflexology. With 15 years as a flight attendant, traveling the world, Mari's experiences with natural therapies in the Far East reinforced her belief in their effectiveness alongside Western medicine. Mari has expanded her expertise by also becoming an energy coach.
At Mari's clinic, the goal is not just to address symptoms but to identify the root cause and prevent the recurrence of issues. In addition to hands-on work, genuine listening is a crucial aspect of her approach.
